We will be using a simple one layer starter originally made by Velvet--Glove, and found here: Link to the starting parameters 1. Your return pong must contain at least one layer from the previous fractal. This layer must contain the "main formula" (for the first round the main formula is Advance Gnarl). You may tweak this layer to your hearts content, but identify the layer by renaming it. You do not have to use the base layer of the previous fractal unless it is the only layer with the main formula. 2. You must post the parameters to your sta.sh. Velvet--Glove has written a guide on how you can do this: :thumb393470933: 3. You can use as many different layers with any formulas, outside coloring algorithms, ( OCAs), inside coloring algorithms (ICAs), gradients and mappings, for frames, details and textures. In other words, anything goes, as long as you maintain one layer from the previous fractal. 4. You may use as many or as few layers from the previous fractal, as long as one layer contains the main formula. 5. Groups can be used, but no animations. 6. No need to rename all layers (clean up your parameters) 7. As we know, parameters in UF can be tweaked to the point where they become very difficult to work with, so if this chain goes on beyond a second round, we can change the main formula. a. A main formula can be changed once it makes it through the whole chain rotation twice. If you have already changed the main formula allow someone else to change it that round. b. When choosing a main formula, please be considerate and use something that has many options. If in doubt consult with the chain. c. Rule one still has to be followed, but it needs to be announced that the main formula is being changed in the description on dA. For example, on the second round miincdesign has a hard time working with Advanced Gnarl. She decides that it's time to change to a new and fresh "main formula." She must still use one layer from jim373's fractal that contains Advanced Gnarl, and then add her new formula within a new layer. She will make a LOUD Announcement in her description, and possibly note the rest of the chain. The Chain Process: • When it is your turn, you'll have 72 hours to create your reply. • If you have to skip a turn - can't make the deadline - no problem - the next artist in the chain will take the turn. • Post the reply fractal in this gallery. • In the description of the fractal itself, add the "@"IDs of the chain members - this notifies everyone that it has been posted. It's nice to specifically mention the next person in the chain so they know it's their turn. Tip: You can copy and paste the artist's icons from this gallery or right from the description of the previous post. • Don't forget to post the parameters of your reply in your Sta.sh!
